Emergency! I need your Hair Product Guidance!

Happy Friday Ladies!

I am currently suffering from a serious aliment.... dry, tangley, and overall not cute hair. I'm not sure what the heck is going on. I recently purchased a new shampoo and conditioner, which is awful, thinking it would help with my dry less then lustrous locks. But no this shampoo conditioner combo has made things nothing but worse! Sigh... Whats a girl to do?!

I really need to get this hair situation under control ASAP! We are now starting upon wedding season! Which means showers, luncheons, pictures, and the WEDDING! I need these tangley trusses to be under control and looking fresh and fierce in the next couple weeks. I need your bloggy guidance lady bugs! What products are you using that you love?! I need shampoo and conditioner details like whoa. I need products that will leave this mane shiny, soft, frizz free, and of course pageant poof ready! Plus we have to take into consideration that when weave is added to the mix things get crazy! I need to wash that puppy with something fancy too!

So ladies... tell me your hair secrets... what should I be using?!

Cheers,

A Future MRS.

  1. Use It's A 10!!! I love it! I have thick hair that is very prone to tangles and dryness...this hair product saved me! I also use Herbal Essences "Hello Hydration" Shampoo and conditioner.

It's A 10 really keeps my hair soft and tangle free. It also serves as a thermal protectant for my flat iron and blow dryer. I really am very very happy with this product. You can buy this product at Regis Hair salons and at Ulta. I'm sure more places carry it, but I buy mine at Ulta.

I know how you feel about wedding season...I am getting married in October and I would not trust my hair to any other product.

Good luck! Let me know how it works for you if you try it!

  2. I have a few options for you! There are two brands that I consistently switch between, and I have veryyy thick pageant hair. The first, is Pantene nature fusion smooth vitality. It's inexpensive and awesome. One of my doctors actually recommended it!http://www.pantene.com/en-US/hair-care-products/product/smooth-hair-shampoo.aspx

The second is what I break out when I have a fancy event (since it's more on the expensive side). I was hesitant to think that this shampoo & conditioner was actually worth the $$$ but girlfrienddd, let me tell you it totally is! My hair has never been as shiny as it has been with Frederic Fekkai brilliant glossing. Here's the link: http://www.pantene.com/en-US/hair-care-products/product/smooth-hair-shampoo.aspx

Also, I use Moroccan Oil when I blowdry & straighten. Only use a teeny tiny bit! But it has changed my life.

Hope this helps!!! <3 xx, http://www.pantene.com/en-US/hair-care-products/product/smooth-hair-shampoo.aspx

    Hope this helps!!

  6. Sounds like you need some leave in conditioner! I swear by Aussie. It is so drugstore, but it works wonders. I had HORSE hair from frying it so much & the dry weather just killed my hair. Use Aussies 3 Minute deep conditioner once a week & after every shower spray on Aussie Leave in Conditioner. If these things don't work, it would probably be worth it to get a keratin treatment or something from a hair dresser!

  8. Hi. I'm new to your blog and happened upon it at just the right time. A former pageant queen (like you!), I have constantly battled with dry, tangly hair from too much heat styling, tanning, etc. I swear by Fekkai products, found at Ulta, Sephora, and online.

They simply are the best. Moisturizing and repairing yet don't weigh your hair down. Try the Protein RX reparative shampoo and conditioner. Then, use the Protein RX Anti-Breakage treatment mask a couple times a week - this is the key step. I'd start with three times a week then back it down to just one or two once your hair improves. It is a little expensive for a mask but SOOO worth it! And the jar will last for months.
